  • Coaching is a client‑centered, goal‑oriented process. We help you clarify what you want, explore options, and commit to actions you can own.
    How it works:

    1. Free discovery session (30 min) to understand your goals and fit.

    2. Agreement & onboarding (we’ll email your Coaching & Mentoring Agreement).

    3. Payment via Stripe and self‑scheduling with your personal Calendly link.

    4. Sessions on Microsoft Teams, with practical actions after each session.

  • Individuals who want to develop or advance in cybersecurity or adjacent professional skills, including:

    • Students and career‑switchers breaking into security

    • Early‑career professionals building confidence and skills

    • Professionals upskilling for security‑related or leadership roles

    • Anyone seeking clearer goals, better habits, or targeted training in security topics

  • Typical topics include:

    • Career clarity and transition into cybersecurity

    • Skills roadmaps, study plans, and certification preparation

    • Interview prep, CV/LinkedIn alignment, portfolio and project storytelling

    • Leadership & communication in security contexts

    • Productivity, focus, and accountability to achieve valuable outcomes

    • Coaching: You set the goals and we facilitate your thinking, awareness, and decisions. We don’t prescribe solutions.

    • Mentoring: We share experience‑based guidance and suggestions you can adapt.

    • Training: Structured skills and knowledge transfer with defined learning outcomes (e.g., workshops or classes).

    • Sessions run on Microsoft Teams (no account needed, you join from the invite link).

    • You’ll book and manage your slots via Calendly.

    • We’ll share resources by email or secure links.

    • Recordings are off by default and only happen with your explicit consent (see our Privacy Policy).

    • Your conversations are confidential within the limits stated in our Disclaimer.

    • Coaching or mentoring sessions: 60 minutes each.

    • Most clients start with a package of 3–6 sessions spread over 1–3 months for meaningful progress.

    • Training classes: Duration varies by topic, it can be a half-day workshop or multi‑session programs (details in the Training Agreement).

    • Clarity on your goals and next steps.

    • Improved confidence in decision‑making and problem‑solving.

    • Accountability to follow through on actions.

    • Better self‑awareness and professional habits.

    Coaching and mentoring do not guarantee specific results. Your progress depends on your engagement and context.

    • Practical skills and knowledge in cybersecurity fundamentals or specialized topics.

    • Actionable frameworks you can apply immediately in your role or studies.

    • Interactive exercises for real‑world scenarios.

  • Currently, all services are delivered in English.

  • Yes. For most structured training programs, we will provide a digital certificate of completion after you attend all required sessions and meet the training agreement conditions.

Bookings and Payments

    • Book a free discovery session (30 min) via our Calendly link to confirm fit and goals.

    • If we decide to proceed, we’ll email your Coaching & Mentoring Agreement (or a Training Agreement for classes).

    • You’ll receive a secure Stripe payment link (payable within 7 days).

    • Once paid, you’ll get your personal Calendly link to schedule coaching sessions.

    • Training classes are scheduled by SophraCyber. You’ll receive the full calendar and joining details by email.

  • Yes. One free 30‑minute discovery session is required before purchasing any coaching package. It helps us align on goals, scope, and suitability.

    For training classes, a discovery session is not required.

    • Scheduling: After payment, schedule your sessions using your personal Calendly link.

    • Rescheduling: You may reschedule up to 24 hours before the session start time. Each session can be rescheduled a maximum of two times.

    • No‑show: If you miss a session without rescheduling in time, it counts as used, it isn’t refundable or reschedulable.

    • Validity: All sessions must be used within the package validity period stated in your Agreement.

    • Training: Dates are set by SophraCyber. Any timetable changes (except due to force majeure) are communicated in advance.

    • Coaching: Refunds are not provided. Sessions already delivered, canceled under 24 hours, or no‑shows are not refundable.

    • Training: Depending when you cancel, you can get a full or partial refund. No refunds provided if you cancel 7 days or less than the start.

    • We accept secure online payment via Stripe.

    • Payment is due within 7 days of signup.

    • Bookings are confirmed only after full payment has been received.

    • Transfers: Packages and sessions are not transferable to other people.

    • Pauses: Pausing is not standard. If something unavoidable arises, contact us. Some case‑by‑case accommodations may be considered, but validity periods remain as stated in your Agreement.

    • Prices are shown inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Dutch VAT is applied where applicable under law.

    • You will always receive a digital receipt (including our KvK and business details) for your records.

Ethics and Privacy

  • Yes. Everything discussed in coaching or mentoring sessions is confidential.
    Exceptions:

    • If there is an imminent risk of serious harm to you or others.

    • When disclosure is required by law (e.g., court order).

    • If you give explicit written consent to share information (e.g. ICF accreditation or audit)

  • We align with the ICF Code of Ethics and the Global Code of Ethics (EMCC Global/Association for Coaching).
    If you have a concern:

    • We comply with GDPR/AVG and only collect data necessary for service delivery and accreditation.

    • Session recordings and transcripts are never made without your explicit consent.

    • If required for ICF credentialing, we may submit anonymized logs or recordings only with your consent.

    • All data is stored securely and deleted after the retention period stated in our Privacy Policy.

  • You can fill up our contact form and select GDPR as a topic. This way you can raise a GDPR request to us. Otherwise, please fee free to email coach@sophracyber.com to:

    • Request a copy of your data.

    • Correct or delete information (subject to legal and accreditation obligations).

    • Restrict processing or request portability.

    We respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority).

Support

  • Coaching is not crisis care. If you or someone else is at immediate risk, call 112.
